Colourful Upington...

I generally love Celtic art, this is a custom design, and would have been expanded. Unfortunately due to blind truck drivers he died with his wife in a tragic motorcycle accident.

RIP J.I
Colour was never my favourite, but my love for it lately is growing, these 2 butterflies are adorned with colour.
Skulls and reapers are something I always enjoy doing, but doing something like this, with just enough colour to bring it to life is really enjoyable.
A bit more of these skulls with some attitude. Quick and easy.
Unfortunately I failed to take a photo directly after finishing up with it, but it should still give you an idea. This dolphin was put on the toughest girl I have seen to date.
Loving music so much as to make it part of you is quite a commitment, a commitment I love!
Some self inflicted pain that I am busy with "Dia de los Muertos". This is my tribute to those who celebrate life, this is also my 1st piece with any colour in it.
A WORK IN PROGRESS, should be done in the next sitting or so, but this is just to give you a taste.

Guns and Glory!

So many  people love Chinese characters, for the complexity and meaning. This is another prime example.
The photo makes it a tad difficult to see all the details, but it is not a cover up, merely an expansion. It had the initials C L V on the inner bicep, now it has two S&W with extended barrels in the background. Very enjoyable piece.
It started off as his first humble tattoo, with basic lining, then as time went by and he got the balls to continue we started off with shading the wings, the body etc. So I doubt this will ever not see the tag of WORK IN PROGRESS.
Your choice in tattoo design usually reflects a bit of the person receiving it. The position also plays a role. This just goes to show you that South Africa is heading in the right direction.
