As you can see I am making progress with my Lizardmen army, have my cavalry painted up and on it's movement tray. Next up is finish up of my warriors.
This blog evolved from something just for me, to something for everybody. Now this focuses on my tattoo journey and the way it grows.

Bloody weekend and expensive mondays...
So we played a few friendly small games.
Well Monday came, and I have a power supply en route, as well as a few more models. Though I have to say, I am itching to continue with a few tattoos, especially since I had to put everything on hold. Expect some fresh tattoos soon ;) Until then wait patiently.

If it's not ink, it's paint...
It seems whenever I am done with a tattoo somehow my hands always end up with some ink on them. Since my power supply went and I am scouring our beloved country for another one, I am back painting some of my warhammer figures.
Tonight I started off with my Salamander hunting pack, and all went amazingly smooth as you can see.
I base coated it with black, gave it an orange all over then the red was used for the scales. Some gold and bleached bone, and voila :)
I want my entire army painted for our weekend winter warhammer warmup match, thankfully the only thing left to do is 3 small skink handlers and then i'm done.
At the moment I am just hoping for a miracle from the local electronics guys to see if they might be able to fix the problem since it is only one popped capacitor and one damaged resistor.
Until then, keep creative!

Grim experience!
Today a friend showed up with a request, she needed some help with a photograph that needed some editing, unfortunately her brother's wife lost their first born. She took a picture and it needed some "cleaning up". This was disturbing for a multiple reasons, working with GIMP on a recently deceased baby, the thought is chilling and knowing them made it onto my list of thing I hate doing.
Still no word on any new power supplies. So still waiting patiently.

A Dark New beginning...
Firstly let me say Welcome to LDA, this is my blog when it comes to painting, tattooing, wargaming and a few odd pieces of everything else.
Of all the ways a Monday could end, this is one of the worst ways. Today I did a beautiful piece which kept me busy and excited at the same time. After that a regular came in, since I am busy redoing an entire section on him. About 10 minutes in, the dark smoke escapes and the soul of my power supply goes to Iron heaven :(
Now it will give me some time to focus on my painting and some Warhammer. So until then, lets see what happens.
